So Sorry Friends!

ImageIt seems now that Sandy and I are figuring out our jobs, it’s gotten crazy-busy. For days I’ve thought, “I need to update the blog.” But by the time we get home in the evenings, I’ve got little energy. We have supper, maybe throw in a load of laundry, and crash … maybe click on a few items on Facebook. I’ve just felt too lazy to write. So, just a brief note from the office to say that we’re well, and working hard, and enjoying this adventure. Sandy’s making great advances in the finance department, and feeling good about getting things under control there.

I’ve been working on launching the clinic, and learning new terminology and acronyms. It’s so cool to see God working in bringing together a tremendous staff, and answering prayers in a huge way. It’s been fun working with FHI 360 to organize this project, and this week we’ve been orienting and training staff. Next week, some of our people will begin recruiting peer educators to work in the settlements to develop a client base for the clinics. Keep us in your prayers.

I’ll try to do better. 🙂 Thanks for all the prayers and encouragements we get from you all. It really does make a difference.

Slacking, huh?! Truly I am excited for your project and for Sandy feeling more at home in her job. We got all things moved in (thanks to your son & friends) and still nesting so I can post photos soon. We are using the things you gave us and appreciating them very much. We are amazed and blessed at the same time of God’s goodness to his people. Praying for your strength, health, and wisdom to complete the tasks that lie ahead. Dougy sends his love and prayers and so do I! Blessings, Beverly

    1. So glad to hear your move went well, and that Justin was a big help! It sounds like your new place is going to be better than where you were, and you’ll be able to settle in and make it your own. Tell “Dougy” the fishin’s real good here … 🙂
