It seems now that Sandy and I are figuring out our jobs, it’s gotten crazy-busy. For days I’ve thought, “I need to update the blog.” But by the time we get home in the evenings, I’ve got little energy. We have supper, maybe throw in a load of laundry, and crash … maybe click on a few items on Facebook. I’ve just felt too lazy to write. So, just a brief note from the office to say that we’re well, and working hard, and enjoying this adventure. Sandy’s making great advances in the finance department, and feeling good about getting things under control there.
I’ve been working on launching the clinic, and learning new terminology and acronyms. It’s so cool to see God working in bringing together a tremendous staff, and answering prayers in a huge way. It’s been fun working with FHI 360 to organize this project, and this week we’ve been orienting and training staff. Next week, some of our people will begin recruiting peer educators to work in the settlements to develop a client base for the clinics. Keep us in your prayers.
I’ll try to do better. 🙂 Thanks for all the prayers and encouragements we get from you all. It really does make a difference.
